Bringing the OllyPix Booth to the Design District

The Design District is Dallas's cluster of showrooms and warehouses turned event spaces — open floor plans, high ceilings, and power that was usually installed with events in mind. It's a short drive from downtown and one of the easiest neighborhoods in the city for us to work in.

What's distinctive here is scale and load-in. These rooms tend to host bigger corporate activations and launches than a typical wedding reception, and the buildings themselves were built for that — freight access, service elevators, and dedicated vendor entrances are common. The thing worth nailing down early is which entrance and time window your venue actually wants us using.

Photo Booths at Design District Venues

Whichever space you have booked, what we need from it is the same:

Venues in and around the Design District include The Hall on Dragon, On The Levee, and Level Two, among others.

Load-in is the thing to confirm first. These are usually the easiest venues in Dallas for us to work in — open floor plans, high ceilings, and power that was installed with events in mind. Industrial buildings often have freight elevators, service entrances, and their own vendor time windows, and getting that detail from your venue in advance matters more here than the room itself does, since we need to be fully set up an hour before your first guest arrives.

An open floor plan means placement is a choice, not a constraint. Unlike a room with a fixed layout, Design District spaces usually let us set the booth wherever makes sense for guest flow — just remember to keep the line out of the path of the bar, the stage, or the main walkway.

Not sure what your venue allows? Our DFW wedding venue photo booth guide breaks down what to check by venue style, and we are happy to talk through your specific room.
